During DGI SAML test events, the product test group often encounters problems which require the group to reach a consensus. Consensus items are decisions on standards/implementation issues that the product test group must agree to in order to achieve interoperability among the group. Some consensus items may be temporary solutions necessary to facilitate interoperability among the group until a standard body can more formally address the concern. However, unless later deprecated or clarified, a consensus item will hold for all future test events. Consensus Items:

1. Only Support DSAwithSHA1 Certificate Signing Algorithm
2. Interpretation of EncryptionMethod metadata
3. NameIDPolicy and ID Encryption
4. SSL Server-side Authentication
