Rik is a widely respected thought leader in the eBusiness industry, and is a driving force in the technical standards bodies and vertical industry groups supporting business-to-business commerce. Most recently, Rik has emerged as a leader in the emerging national Smart Grid effort, having served as a representative of the Testing and Vendors category in the Smart Grid Interoperability Panel (SGIP) Governing Board. He is also chairing the Smart Grid Testing and Certification standing committee within SGIP
In addition, Rik was recently presented with an Office of National Coordinator for Smart Grid Interoperability Panel (SGIP) Recognition Award. The award was given in appreciation for his work in driving industry-wide standardized processes of software and hardware certification and testing in the North American electric power grid.
As co-founder and president, Beth Morrow brings a unique blend of executive acumen, team-building, and management experience to Drummond Group. In this pivotal position, Beth is responsible for the strategic and operational direction of Drummond Group's sales, customer support services, branding, marketing, lab testing and certification operations.
Beth's day-to-day management efforts ensure that Drummond Group meets its immediate performance goals while constantly moving forward. To accomplish this, she keenly focuses on driving world-class execution - delivering high quality and consistent customer experiences through value-based professional services. She works closely with other Drummond executives and all staff members, ensuring that the company provides the stellar service that its clients deserve.
A member of Drummond Group's executive board, Beth is instrumental in the development of corporate strategies to catalyze growth in changing technology markets. Working alongside the company's CEO, Beth develops primary goals, operating plans, policies, and short and long range objectives for the laboratory; directs and coordinates activities to achieve profit and return on capital; works to build new strategic business for company; establishes organizational structure and delegates authority to subordinates; leads the test lab towards objectives; and meets with and advises other executives, and reviews results of business operations.
In addition, Beth has taken the lead with the planning and execution of numerous interoperability tests conducted in a vendor-neutral environment that encourages interaction between test participants to deliver greater benefits to end-users.
Beth has been responsible for driving leading-edge sales and marketing initiatives, including consulting and publishing related strategic research that fosters e-commerce growth for various industries such as retail, grocery, health care, transportation, government and automotive.

Prior to joining Drummond, Beth facilitated the development of e-business initiatives at CommerceNet and Internet nonprofit consortiums. In addition, she has held management positions in sales and marketing, and served as principal in two design companies.
As Chief Financial Officer, Bill Smith brings more than 30 years of financial management experience and expertise to Drummond Group. In his capacity as CFO, Bill oversees the controller, tax and information systems of the organization, and is instrumental in directing all financial aspects of the business, including accounting practices, budgeting and monitoring the company's financial performance.
He also works closely with clients to provide guidance with all contracts and legal aspects related to software testing and certification, and serves on the company's executive board.
In addition, Bill presides as chairman of the Drummond Group EHR Certification Committee where he oversees the products' auditing and testing practices per the ONC rules and regulations.
Kyle Meadors serves as Drummond Group's director of EHR testing. In this role, Kyle oversees the EHR testing program for Drummond Group, which has certified more than 350 product versions to date. His responsibilities include administering EHR test events and authoring EHR test plans and other testing related documents.
As a proven leader in interoperability and conformance testing of software systems, Kyle has conducted the testing on numerous standards and technologies for various industries including retail, financial, healthcare and energy. Kyle has also overseen the interoperability and conformance testing for Drummond Group for technologies such as AS2 (secure messaging), SAML (identity management) and GDSN (global item data synchronization).
In addition, Kyle served as the editor of the identity management, eGov Profile SAML 2.0 document, the first international government profile for SAML 2.0 conformance, and he is the author of RFC 6017 other RFC-track Internet-Drafts with IETF. Kyle graduated with honors in electrical engineering from Mississippi State University and currently resides with his wife and two children in Nashville, TN.
