Dec. 16 marks deadline to test, submit ONC Cures criteria
To ensure certifications are posted to the ONC CHPL website by the Dec. 31 deadline, developers must register ASAP in order to schedule needed testing or submit attestations. All testing and certification activities, including withdrawal requests, must be completed no later than Friday, Dec. 16. Early invoicing is recommended for all Q4 testing and certification activities to mitigate any delays in processing. Please contact your Drummond representative for more details.
Developers may self-attest to the new and revised Cures criteria – with the exception of §170.315(g)(10) Standardized API for Patient and Population Services – which requires a live test session.
As a reminder, health IT developers are required to have their Cures-certified products posted on the ONC CHPL website and provide updated technology to customers by Dec. 31. Developers failing to meet this requirement will be subject to corrective action by the ONC. Developers unsure of meeting this deadline should consider removing the specific certified criteria and plan for CMS incentive customers to utilize a certified third party in order to maintain a base EHR definition. RWT test results submission begins Dec. 1
Developers may begin submitting Real World Test (RWT) results on Dec. 1 for CY 2022. The due date for RWT test results is Feb. 1, 2023. Refer to the ONC’s updated RWT Resource Guide and RWT results template for guidance.
ONC requires developers maintain a single landing page with links to all RWT plans and results. Developers may submit a new URL to their ONC-ACB during the RWT plan or result submission period, if necessary.

Feb. 1, 2023: 2022 RWT Results
April 2023: Q1 2023 Quarterly Attestation and ONC Semi-Annual Attestation
July 2023: Q2 2023 Quarterly Attestation
October 2023: Q3 2023 Quarterly Attestation and ONC Semi-Annual Attestation
Nov. 1, 2023: 2024 RWT Plan
Prior to Dec. 31, 2023: §170.315(b)(10) EHI Export certification required for certified products that store EHI
