Terms of Use
Drummond logo and the Drummond Certified™ seals are registered marks of Drummond Group, LLC.
The Drummond logo and seals are provided to certified participants who have successfully met the requirements set forth by the certification program.
- Certification is valid for that product-with-version only, and only for the specific test specified on the Certificate of Compliance. Other products offered by that company or versions of that product that have not undergone testing are not considered Drummond Certified and may not use the Certificate.
- The Certificate of Compliance must be used in its entirety.
If you choose to post the Drummond Certified™ seal on your website’s home page, other internal pages, press releases, or marketing materials, the Drummond Certified™ seal must be hyperlinked to Drummond’s Certified Products webpage (https://www.drummondgroup.com/certified-products/pdsi-risk-certified-products/).
Companies agree to display the Drummond Certified™ seal without alteration, modification, or misrepresentation in any way, shape, or form.
Companies agree to use the Drummond Certified™ seal only in an authorized manner or approved format, according to these guidelines.
- d) To maintain certification, recertification is required biennially. In the event Customer does not complete biennial recertification, or otherwise upon termination or expiration of the contract for any reason, Customer shall immediately terminate its use of the Certificate of Compliance and the Certification Marks.
Drummond reserves the right to approve or disapprove the use of the seal or logo on a company’s website or marketing materials (size, surrounding text, etc.) to ensure that it complies with these policies. Drummond has the right to rescind the seal or logo usage at any time.
Use only the mark provided by Drummond for print or electronic media.
A safe and empty area of 0.5” must be maintained around the mark.
If applicable, the seal must be labeled with the specific year which applies to the criteria tested.
Actions for Incorrect References or Incorrect Usage of the Certificates, Seals or Marks
Drummond reserves the right to act against any misuse or unfair, false claims, misleading, diluting, or infringing use of Drummond’s marks or certificates. If Drummond finds that there is incorrect use of the Certificate of Compliance and/or the Drummond Registered Marks (Drummond Certified™ seal, badges or logo), Drumond may take the following actions.
Drummond will require a misuser to take corrective action whenever the certificate or mark has been affixed to a product and
- is not authorized to bear the mark because there is no record of the product’s certification or it does not comply with the certification requirements so that the integrity of the mark of conformity is jeopardized
- the use of the mark is unauthorized (e.g., a counterfeit mark)
- the mark is being displayed in violation of any existing agreement
- a complaint of non-compliance has been received by Drummond and, after review, has been found to be true
- where there are incorrect references to the Drummond certification program or misleading use of certificates or marks are found in print or electronic media
Drummond may take corrective actions, which include but are not limited to:
- Removal of Certificate of Compliance or mark
- Request re-test and re-certification of the product so that it complies with certification requirements
- Take necessary and appropriate legal action
Drummond reserves the right, at any time and without cause, to modify or suspend these policies and withdraw any permission granted to a company to use the certificate or mark. Drummond also reserves the right to act against any misuse or unfair, false claims, misleading, diluting, or infringing use of Drummond’s mark or certificates.
