Patrick leads Drummond’s Information Security and Interoperability Services team, overseeing the EPCS, CSOS, and B2B AS2/AS4/ebMS Testing and Certification programs. His primary focus is the Drug Enforcement Agency’s Electronic Prescription of Controlled Substances (EPCS) and Controlled Substance Ordering System (CSOS) programs, where he is one of the industry’s foremost experts on how EPCS regulations apply to pharmacy and prescriber applications.

Patrick conducts and oversees comprehensive security and compliance assessments of application providers, pharmacies, and prescribing practices, reviewing both cloud-based and installed applications against federal regulations.

Before moving into his current leadership role, Patrick worked as a PCI auditor and penetration tester, bringing extensive hands-on experience across multiple regulatory frameworks to his work at Drummond. He holds CISSP and GPEN certifications and two BBA degrees from the University of Texas at San Antonio in Infrastructure Assurance and Management Information Systems. He has been with Drummond since 2014.
