As the director of Drummond’s ONC Accredited Test Lab (ATL), James Threatte’s people-first philosophy emphasizes the power of flexibility and connection to build supportive and high-performing teams of test proctors and account managers. He has a demonstrated passion for driving the adoption of health technologies to increase quality of care while improving efficiencies and reducing costs, and delivering business results in fast-paced, collaborative environments.

After working with electronic health records (EHR) software companies for two decades, James joined Drummond in 2019 from Doctorsoft Corporation where he served as a product manager. He has multi-faceted experience with numerous stakeholders in the health IT industry, including managing a clinic implementing EHR, co-founding a software company, conducting on-site EHR client implementations, and leading a team of software developers at Doctorsoft through ONC 2015 Edition certifications.

James holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a master’s degree in health communication from Northwestern University. He lives in the Chicago area with his wife and son.
