With Drummond Certified software, vendors can develop better products, back up product claims, offer efficient implementation, enhance marketing efforts, and get recognized quickly. The Drummond Certified Seal carries weight, so you can use it in press releases, brochures, white papers, and other marketing. In addition, your Drummond Certified software will be placed on recommended vendor lists.
AS2 Certification
Pre-Certification
AS2 Transport Certification tests an AS2 products mechanism for transporting data through the layers of the protocol stack using HTTP, ensuring that data can be transported correctly and can be understood. SSL (or TLS) may also be applied to secure the channel and protect the data from being read or intercepted by a “man-in-the-middle”.
Drummond Group is chosen by GS1 as its sole compliance certification agent for the Global Data Synchronisation Network (GDSN) Data Pool AS2 Interoperability requirement. GDSN Data Pools are now required to use a Drummond Certified AS2 solution. GDSN data pools that develop their own AS2 solutions must certify their AS2 product with Drummond by participating in an AS2 test event every two years to maintain their AS2 certification.
Pre-Certification
AS2 Interoperability pre-certification testing is required to gain entry into the AS2 Interoperability Certification testing round. In pre-certification, you are required to integrate the InSitu™ Framework into your application to allow for automated testing against two AS2 servers hosted by Drummond. This AS2 Interoperability pre-certification testing is offered upon request.
AS4 Certification
Pre-Certification
Full matrix interoperability testing for the OASIS ( Organization for the Advancement of Structured Information Standards) AS4 (Applicability Statement 4 – ebMS 3.0 AS4 profile version 1.0), uses the SOAP/Web Services standard, and InSitu is not required. All participating AS4 applications test against each other (all send/receive) to demonstrate interoperability and earn certification as a group. AS4 Interoperability certification is offered once per year, July through September.

AS4 Interoperability pre-certification testing is required to gain entry into the AS4 Interoperability Certification round of testing. In pre-certification, you will test against one AS4 server hosted by Drummond. The OASIS AS4 Profile uses SOAP/Web Services standard for packaging and transport. This AS4 Interoperability pre-certification testing is offered upon request.
