Q2 2026 testing focused on Coverage Requirements Discovery (CRD), a critical prior authorization workflow component that enables payers and providers to exchange real-time coverage information before clinical decisions.
During Q2 2026, FHIRplace participants executed structured FHIR testing across coverage data exchange workflows. The testing identified interoperability issues for remediation and achieved an 89% success rate on executed test scenarios.
This outcome demonstrates that multi-party testing of data exchange workflows enables health IT developers, payers, providers, and intermediaries to validate interoperability before deployment, reducing integration friction and accelerating market readiness.
To ensure that real-world testing rigor translates into actionable fixes, Drummond has introduced an Issue Typology Metrics framework and reporting methodology that standardizes how interoperability problems are classified, tracked, and resolved. This rigor gives participants and the market clear visibility into what was tested, what failed, and how remediation progressed. FHIRplace recognizes two levels of participation. The FHIRplace Participant emblem marks organizations actively engaged in structured FHIR testing. The Drummond Validated seal is awarded to organizations that successfully demonstrate interoperability across the multi-party testing matrix.
