Finance Business Partner Drummond Group

The Finance Business Partner will provide financial consulting and strategic support to management including preparing financial reports, cost analysis, industry/peer group comparisons, new business opportunities, acquisition analysis and other projects requested by management. This function acts as an important analytical resource of the company to provide insights and support ‘optimal’ business decision making. This position will play an integral role in the future growth of the Division and will be responsible for annual budgeting process including quarterly reforecasts, operating plan variance analysis, and special projects.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Assess current and past trends in KPIs including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, and expenses
  • Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance
  • Continued development of budgeting, financial forecasting, operating plan and modeling tools
  • Improve performance by evaluating processes to drive efficiencies and understand ROI in various programs, projects and products
  • Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives
  • Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes
  • Support portfolio Portfolio FP&A leader, Financial Controller, management team, and departments heads with in-depth analysis
  • Recommends financial actions by assessing options in relation to organization goals
  • Prepare reports, dashboards and scorecards and quarterly and monthly financial reports
  • Perform ad-hoc reporting and analysis
  • Protect operations by keeping financial information confidential

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA and/or CPA a plus
  • Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience
  • Previous audit experience a plus
  • Proficient in MS Office, expert in Excel, strong computer skills
  • Strong leadership and people skills required
  • Experience in multi-company and multi-department environment preferred

This is a Full-Time position, located in Salt Lake City, UT or the Portsmouth, NH area. Compensation depends on experience.
